I fully agree, it is right there with the Mk1 Quattroporte and the Monteverdi Highspeed.

I'm not huge on the grille insert, but other than that, I wholeheartedly agree. I wish Aston had kept it in series production while they worked the bugs out of the Series 2. It's not like the Series 2 would have looked any less crazy-cool if they'd waited 'til 1980 to fix everything, and still had the sexy sedan you have pictured to sell while everyone waited.
Part of me wonders what it'd look like with the DBS front end. And part of me wishes they kept it in production long enough to offer a V8 Vantage-trimmed/spec'd version.
